The Maybelle Series is a singer-songwriter concert series I created after moving from Nashville to southern Utah. Of the many things I loved about Nashville, the thing I miss the most is the continual live music, especially the songwriter rounds. There is something so powerful about hearing an artist share a story behind a song and then having the chance to hear them sing it. The Maybelle Series features local, professional, female artists sharing their songs and stories in an "in-the-round" format. It has been an amazing thing to see the audience reaction to the shows so far, to watch them walk away feeling inspired and hopeful. After every show is finished I can't wait to plan the next one.
